adjusting idle
« on: June 09, 2014, 03:05:40 AM »
My explorer kept stalling going down steep hill even when I pull the clutch in... Also it would periodically stall when I stop in gear even when clutch is in. Is the idle to low and how do I adjust it?

You need the cables and software.

There is a new throttle body out there that allows idle adjustment without those, but I think it requires them to set it up initially.
There is now an aftermarket cable setup, but I have not been able to get a price.
